We offer competitive pay and regularly re-evaluate each year. In addition, we offer most Team Members the ability to access a portion of their earned wages early, as often as daily.
Retirement - 401 (k)
Academy's 401(k) administrator (Fidelity) helps Team Members build a secure financial future with the flexibility to contribute to a pre-tax or Roth basis through payroll deductions. After one year of service and 1,000 hours worked, eligible Team Members can take advantage of Academy's 100% match on contributions up to 6%, dollar for dollar on a pre-tax basis.
Company Stock
Team Members can purchase Academy common stock through an Employee Stock Purchase Program (ESPP) at a 15% discount directly and conveniently through payroll deductions.

Medical
Academy's medical administrator (Collective Health) offers three medical plan options through Blue Cross Blue Shield with each plan covering 100% of preventative care costs before deductibles are met. Team Members can choose between Preferred Provider Organization, a High-Deductible Health Plan with a Health Reimbursement Account, or a High-Deductible Health Plan with a Health Savings Account.
Dental
Academy's dental insurance provider (Delta Dental) provides benefits that improve oral health. Team Members have coverage on preventive services, basic and major dental care, as well as orthodontic treatment for eligible dependents up to age 18.
Vision
Basic Life and AD&D
Basic Life and Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) coverage is provided at no cost to the Team Member. Eligible dependents are enrolled at no additional cost if they are enrolled in the medical plan.
Pharmacy
Academy's pharmacy benefit provider (MedImpact) provides easy and convenient access to medications. Team Members enrolled in one of Academy's health plans can take advantage of mail-order delivery through Birdi or walk into one of Walgreens retail pharmacies for 90-day supply medications.

Everyone deserves some time off! Academy provides time off in increments that vary based on role, years of service with company, and other factors. Details will be provided specific to the role you are interested in.
Academy's recognized paid holidays are either awarded on specific days or given as “flex holidays” so you can choose when to use. This is specific to the division of Academy for which you are working in.

Parental Leave
Academy's parental leave benefit supports growing families with 100% paid leave time. Eligible Team Members can have up to 10 weeks of paid parental leave for birthing parents and two weeks of paid parental leave for non-birthing and adoptive parents.

The Academy Team Member Relief program provides financial assistance if you experience damage to your home or vehicle due to inclement weather or a fire. Since 2019, Academy has paid over $2 million to our team members in need.
